Eileen T. Abe:

As an associate of the Hawaii Institute of Healing Arts since 2004, Eileen offers the energy modalities of Healing Touch and Reiki to interested individuals, as well as supports and complements Kahu Kalehua Featheran as coordinator during his many wedding ceremonies. As a coordinator, she will attend meetings between Kahu Kalehua and the couple to ensure that the important details are attended to in creating memorable and smooth flowing wedding ceremonies. She offers quality hand crafted products such as ribbon leis, silk haku leis and head leis, silk and fresh wedding flowers and feather kahilis for weddings through her business, Mana’o I’o. A life long resident of the islands and a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a B.Ed., Eileen is enjoying her work in the healing arts and wedding services during this second phase in her life. In June 2002, she concluded a 31-year career with FCH Enterprises, better known as Zippy’s Restaurants, where she started as a part-time office clerk, and earned her promotions, achieving the position of Senior Vice President. From 1999 to 2002, as Chief Operating Officer, Eileen was responsible for the overall growth and well-being of the business and its people. When working with the wedding couple, Eileen combines her business experience and organizational skills with her joy in creating beautiful products for her clients to result in a memorable Hawaiian wedding day officiated by Kahu Kalehua.
